twenty.two

Caysen, you are twenty-two months old, dangerously close to a 2 year old!  The past month has been a busy one full of dr. appointments and an eye surgery, but you have done great through it all.  Here's what you are up to these days:

You are eating solid foods pretty much full time; Yay!!!  You have tried strawberries, grapes, bread, fruit bars, tuna-fish, pancakes, rice, spaghetti, and a bite of pretzel (totally on accident, but you did it), and other things too!

You also started trying to eat things off the floor, not everything's meant to be eaten sweet boy. ;)

You are an expert crawler! 

Ankles beware when you are in your walker!!  You are a mad man in that thing!  ;)

You can say a few new words; your favorite is "up".  You recently used your words to get what you want for the first time.  You walked over to me in your walker and said "up" and then smiled really big when you got what you wanted. :)

You've started a new thing where you giggle and squirm away when I am trying to change your diaper.  You think it's hilarious!

I don't know how much you weigh and I'm not worrying about it.  You are eating great and look healthy and happy; that's all that matters.  :)

You have begun to throw some major fits when you don't get what you want.  You want what you want and don't like taking no for an answer!

You have a mouth full of teeth including two very crooked and very adorable top, front teeth.  :)

Monkey see, monkey do, that has definitely been the theme lately. ;)

You sleep through the night...sometimes, and other times you wake up a time or two for a bottle.  Mama doesn't ever tell you "no" when you're hungry, even at 2am.

You've been sleeping until 8:30 in the mornings; I'm definitely not complaining. ;)

Your two favorite things in the world: magazines and gramps' red race car. It's an obsession.

You still don't love grass, but we're working on it.

You also don't like to be hot; funny since you were born in Taiwan. ;)

It's been another month full of blessings and miracles with the sweetest boy in the world!
