I had trouble getting this one to save normally, so it's a little small...but still pretty cute :)
Yesterday morning, we got the most wonderful news!!! He is going to be our little boy!!!!!! We still have a stressful and emotional process to get through, but we will be counting the days until we get to bring him home:)
Because I am sure you are curious, the bump on his eye is a hemangioma which will eventually go away on its own. It's not harmful; it just makes him look tough ;)
And, the bump on his head is a shunt. One of the complications of his prematurity was a brain bleed which led to hydrocephalus, so the shunt allows the fluid to drain from his brain properly.
We are cautiously excited that this will all work out and we'll get to be with him soon; but we know that God has a wonderful plan, so no matter what happens, it will be for the best.
